For this silent retreat, participants practice the singular experience of meditation in a variety of ways: sitting, walking, eating, and lying down; also doing light yoga and various guided and silent meditations. The Mindful Center retreat leader will lead the day, maintaining the framework of time and guidance for each meditation so that participants have nothing to worry about: nothing to do but experience and practice quietude and peace in a safe and beautiful setting.
This retreat experience is designed for those who have already taken the 8 week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program or have an ongoing meditation practice.
