Love leaves. Friends depart. Our knees blow out.
And through it all, we cling.
But what would it feel like to truly let go?
At the heart of meditation is the skill of letting go. Letting go of the need for things to be other than they are for us to experience a peaceful mind, and thereby a peaceful life. This doesn’t mean that we become soft like a jellyfish, letting all of life’s injustices be “all right by me.” Instead the practice is about cultivating choice. Choice as to what to hold on to, and choice as to what would be of best benefit to yourself and those around you to let go.
THIS WILL BE A DAY OF LETTING GO.
You will learn…
…specific practices for releasing surface level physical and mental tensions.
….how to use meditation to uncover deeper ways we cling, resist, and hold on…and the practices that allow us to let go on that level too.
…how expectations are stealing our happiness…and how to let them go within the context of mindfulness.
