The Mindful Family: 6 Week Program

Classes meet Tuesdays, 8:45am – 10:15, Oct. 7 – Nov. 11
Cost: $175.00 plus tax, includes weekly sessions, coursebook,
4 CD set with over 20 guided meditations PLUS a day retreat.

The study and practice of mindfulness teaches us how to be aware of the present moment. When we are grounded in the present moment we are best able to share with our children what is best in ourselves.  The spirit of mindfulness reminds us that we already have a great capacity for wisdom and compassion. The instruction and facilitation aims to help parents ground themselves in this innate knowledge. This course is based on the most current evidence-based research available regarding mindfulness based relationships between parents and their children. The facilitator is a master’s level family therapist and has been studying mindfulness for many years with respected leaders in the field.
