This is the third meditation in the six part series for pain, and this meditation can be a pivotal practice in that it helps us to find places where we are locked up against what we are feeling.  This locking up of the muscles and the mind can cause our pain to sometimes feel unbearable.  If we can find places to release, places to soften, places to relax, blood flows differently, and how pain registers in the brain can take a different path.  This practice can be done as part of the series or on its own.
