What would it feel like to say “This is the way that I eat,” compared to “I’m on a diet.”

Just the simple awareness of the different charge behind each of these statements can be a game changer when it comes to food, eating, and how we approach this very human activity, as well as open our minds to a potential (and game changing) practice of mindful eating.

Mindful Eating is the real deal once we know how to practice and have some degree of consistency with doing it until it becomes a way of life. And though it might not give us the same quick results as the -shed-10-pounds-in-4-days type of dieting, the research clearly shows how much more sustainable it is in relation to healthy living.
So again, what would it feel like to say “This is the way I eat,” compared to “I’m on a diet.” And all you have to do to know the difference is give it a try.
