Nothing holds up the the mirror to our mindlessness quite like our children! Ugh!
It seems that especially with the daily grind of raising kids, we can so easily slip into unconscious behaviors. One of mine I’ve nicknamed my Rambo-Mama-Mode, in which I will literally plough over unfortunate citizens in my efforts to get from Point A to B with my twin two year olds. So much of our lives with our children in these modern busy times is about just getting things done, and we can forget that not every moment calls for this type of approach.
In this video I share one of these times and how even the smallest moments can be big opportunities for practice.
And I’d love to know if something like this has ever happened to you. And if so, were you able to handle it mindfully? And if not, is there something to be learned from that moment now in retrospect?
Hope so much this brings you benefit.
With love,
Michelle
