Join Michelle DuVal, MA, in this dynamic day session as she covers the essential elements of mindfulness practice: What it is, how to do it in our daily lives for real stress reduction, and how it can help with sleep issues, weight issues, as well as chronic worry, anxiety and depression. With time to practice a variety of meditations – breathing, walking, eating, and lying down (great for sleep issues!).
In this course participants progress through a uniquely comprehensive study and practice of mindfulness meditation: what it is, how to do it in our daily lives to reduce stress, manage pain, help with sleep issues, weight issues, healing processes, and more, and how it enables our ability to participate in our own health and well being.
Join us for this six-week program as we explore techniques in meditation and mindfulness designed to release tension, open us up to a more fulfilling daily life experience, increase resiliency, help us to step into ‘flow,’ and increase emotional intelligence and the ability to bring this intelligence into our relationships at work and at home.
A one-of-a-kind program that runs six weeks and teaches participants an entirely new approach to weight loss, healthy eating, and stress reduction. Participants learn the clinically proven techniques of mindfulness and how to hone and direct their skills toward eating and weight issues.
If you’ve taken MBSR and want to go further, then this is the program for you. This class picks up where MBSR left off, with more advanced practices, new guided meditations, and a higher level of focus on creating mindfulness as a way of life.
