These meditations have been written and fine-tuned over 25 years of teaching Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programs and retreats and represent the collaboration between the father and daughter team of Jim DuVal and Michelle DuVal, MA founders of The Mindful Center.

What You Get

An album of 4 guided meditation MP3’s to download to your devices.  These meditations will help you move into deeper states of rest and relaxation, the pre-cursor for sleep.  Michelle recommends loading them onto your device ahead of time, so that they are ready to go when it’s either time to go to bed, or when you’ve woken up in the night and can’t fall back asleep.  Keeping them handy will make it easier for you to stay relaxed, even when you might be starting to worry if tonight’s going to be yet another sleepless night.  Not letting yourself progress too far down that path of worry will help you move into the meditations, as well as get you back on the path toward sleep.  Another great tip in using these meditations is to make sure that you either have these set as stand alone audio files on your player, or put them in a folder only with other sleep meditations….you don’t want to take the chance that just as you’ve fallen back to sleep, the next song on your playlist comes on and it happens to be ACDC!

Middle of the Night Meditation

The next best thing to sleep is rest. If you can use this meditation to help you move into a state of rest, you are at least now moving in a good direction. So don't be discouraged if it doesn't put you right to sleep. Use it to put you to rest, and then see what happens.
