Michelle DuVal, MA, Director of The Mindful Center, will be hosting a series of boutique classes via ZOOM video conferencing, as a way to bring students together in an intimate setting (your home) to go deeper into mindfulness in a connected way.  Each 4 week session will be limited to 13 people so as to preserve the intimacy of these session, as well as to ensure the focus stays on you and your practice.

And guess what?  The curriculum will come from you.

Before the class begins each participant will fill out a questionnaire in order to drill into what you most hope to get out of our time together, what issues/ obstacles are causing you the most struggle, and what you feel you are lacking in both your practice and your life.

Then Michelle will create a program to the best of her abilities to best suit the needs of the group, with structure and specific practices that could go into such areas as:

love and relationships
workplace stress
health and healing
sadness and loss
general happiness

Also included in this program is lifetime access to our recorded sessions for future reference as well as a series of downloadable guided meditations to sustain and nourish your ongoing practice.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a beginner level program.  Previous attendance in MBSR or other foundational level mindfulness training is required.

so every seat is first come, first serve.
Every session is on a Sunday 5 – 6pm via ZOOM Video Conferencing,

Breathing can be an immediate tool for calming the central nervous system. This short meditation can be done anytime, anywhere you want to take things down a notch and ease your stress.

Body Scan for Relaxation

The next best thing to sleep is rest. If you can use this meditation to help you move into a state of rest, you are at least now moving in a good direction. So don't be discouraged if it doesn't put you right to sleep. Use it to put you to rest, and then see what happens.
