A Day of Meditation…
Have you been daydreaming of a day to just meditate? Join us….
Meditation Day Retreat: Sat. Nov. 2, 10am – 3pm
Three kinds of practice builds a truly life-enhancing meditation:
Formal Practice – when you sit in meditation, usually your daily “practice”
Informal Practice – when you practice mental stabilization out as you’re living your life, what we call the “mini-meditations”
Deep Practice – when you retreat from the world and spend more consecutive time being with yourself in meditation.
This day falls into the third category.
Michelle DuVal, MA, Director of The Mindful Center, will be hosting this retreat, which is the perfect day just for meditation in a gorgeous natural environment. The time will be divided into guided meditations, yoga/ moving meditation, walking meditation, eating meditation, and silent meditation. Participants should know how to meditate, as this is a day for practice and no instruction will be given.
A day to relax. A day to just be.
Breathing. Stretching. Walking in nature.
Eating some lunch.
