Mindful Support Group for Retired Women

Big life changes like retirement can leave us at loose ends. Our old routines and acquaintances are gone, and especially during these times of quarantine, we might notice a gap forming in our life.

We'd love to offer you our {mindful} support.

Mindful Support Group for Retired Women
6 week program
Tuesdays, 4-5pm Nov. 10 – Dec. 15
Via ZOOM videoconferencing

If you are a retired woman looking for ways to incorporate mindfulness into your retirement life, we’d love to have you join us for this casual, supportive, weekly meeting of like minded women, facilitated by Dr. Toby Palley and Heather Ver Brugge, LMHC, as we focus on supporting each other as we develop and deepen our mediation practice.

This support group will provide:

  • A time and space for weekly meditation in a supportive group environment
  • An opportunity to begin or grow your meditation practice
  • A place to share your thoughts and challenges about your practice with other women
  • A way to learn and practice a variety of meditation techniques

This is what we’ll be exploring…hope so much you can join us!

Please Note

This group is appropriate for brand-new meditators and meditators who have some experience.
While supportive meditation groups can be a helpful intervention for mental health, this is not a therapy group, or a place to air grievances.
The focus of this group will be on supporting each other as we develop our practice of mindfulness.

Because this is a free program and registration will be limited to 12, we ask that all registrants
commit to attending as many of the 6 sessions as possible. We expect this program to fill up with a wait list, and we wish to have these few spots filled with folks who are serious in their commitment to attending.

Free of Charge - Register Today!

We hope so much you can join us!

On Demand Program: Achieving Consistent Mindfulness

Most people have 5 blocks that stop consistent relaxation and freedom. If people could focus on clearing these 5 key blocks that stop them from experiencing the more consistent benefits of mindfulness (no matter what happens in your life) – they would be able to simplify their practice and feel more at ease in their daily lives and a lot less stress – even less stress about meditating!
